I received a Christmas cactus about 2 1/2 weeks ago with some buds just starting and some buds almost all the way open. Since then, most of the flowers have bloomed beautifully, but about a week after the flower blooms, the flower itself starts to wilt and shrivel. Is this normal? How can i curl my hair like ashley tisdale in this pic?!?!?!?

What you do is. You take a 2" curling iron and take big sections of hair and just curl it like you wwould any other time. Then, after you curled it (don't put any hair spray in it yet) run your fingers through it a little bit so the curls will fall a little bit so it will be more wavy and not have so defined curls (her hair isn't really curled, its waved really). After that take some gel or mousse. Mousse will probably work better, but if you only have gel just use a little smaller amount of it. Take the mousse and put about a quarter size on your hand and rub it in your hands and then rub it into your hair and do that about 3 or 4 times (or until you can see a little wetness in your hair) and then kinda scrunch your hair. Take the sides of your hair and just grab it tight. Then spray some hair spray in it and continue scrunching. Then at one point, take quite a bit of mousse on your hands and put your hair in a messy bun, but don't put a pig tail in it just hold it with your hand for about 20 seconds (you could add some hair spray at that point too) and then let it out and add some more hair spray and then you should be done. I recently converted a 55 gallon community tank into an african cichlid tank. I have two in the tank at the moment, an electric yellow and an electric blue. I kept the same gravel in the tank that I had in the community tank because it was set up for almost a year and had generated plenty of beneficial bacteria. The gravel is about pebble sized rocks, something that cichlids at their current size wouldn't be able to move. I know cichlids enjoy digging pits, and I'm wondering if it will be a big problem if they're not able to. The two in there seem to be displaying perfectly normal behavior so far.

I have stomach aches very often. Most of the time it is tolerable pain. However, sometimes it is outragiously painfull. My are alot more tender than normal. I also have back pain.Every day i wake up and want to vomit. Also im very sensitive with eating. Which is unusual, Meaning after every meal i want to vomit. I cant swallow Advil because it also makes me puke. I have headeaches occasionally. Also when i get up to quickly i get dizzy and light headed. I am a little bit more moody then normal. Motorcycle Accident - how much can you expect in settlement?

my bestfriend met a guy about a year ago, shortly after they met he got in a motorcycle accident, as a bystander. I have just bought a Nintendo DS and iwant to protect the touch screen from scratches so i bought some screen protectors from Ebay.(Cheap ones) the first ones i got were ok,but after just one game the protector got so scratched up i could not see through it!I bought a 2nd set,but now with these ones the sensitivity of the touch screen is really reduced.I have to ram the stylus pretty hard for it to reconise touchs!Is there a happy medium or a product you or Nintendo recommends that will not scratch up and keep the things sensitive too?Please leave links so i can buy some!Thanks,Paul

He has issues showing emotion where I'm very free and unafraid to be vulnerable and it's a quality everyone but him finds very endearing. So now I'm tired of hurting and I'm angry now. ok so i know i listen to my music a bit too loud (w/ headphones too), and one time i heard hissing-like noises in my ears so i stopped. the ringing thankfully stopped too. that was a relief. but then i started to pick up listening to my music loud again/: but recently i got this horribly cold, (sore throat, sneezing, coughing, stuffy nose, headaches) also when id get out of bed, usually i get dizzy but i was getting bad headaches instead! i feel better now, but my nose is still congested and im just now noticing this but the muscles below and under my eyebrows HURT, and when i pat the back of my head, my TEETH hurt. ??? then i went to sleep last nite earlier than usual and woke up at 5am to this "droning" like noise in my right ear. im scared its tinnitus. i dont swim at all, but i do listen to my music loud sometimes, but i heard that you can get tinnitus from a cold and it will p after a few days. my right ear also feels a little blocked right now. no drainage so i doubt its an ear infection. but whats happening to me!! please im only 15 i dont want to deal with this for the rest of my life!

I'm told I should have a "leading foot" in snowboarding, but I do not, I seem to be equally as comfortable with either foot foward as I go down the hill. So I'm using Pro Tools 8 LE with a gibson V guitar and Mesa boogie triple rectifier half stack. I want a guitar tone in the vein of Korn/Godsmack/Disturbed for rhythm and Bullet for my valentine/Avenged Sevenfold/All that Remains for lead. This is my *ideal* I'll settle for as close as possible. Im not gaining any more weight?

I'm having problems gaining weight. Im 18 years old and I've had a high metabolism my whole life. I lift weights as a hobby. I've been lifting for the past 6 months. I am currently 5 10, 152 Ibs. and when i first started i was 140 Ibs. I put on about 12 pounds of muscle and all of a sudden i just stopped putting on weight. I haven't put on weight in like 2 months. I eat high protein meals mostly chicken. About 4 -5 meals a day. And i think i'm getting enough protein, 150 - 160 grams a day and i drink enough water. And i'm also going up steadily in my lifts. But i'm just not gaining anymore weight! any suggestions?

My question is this: given your knowledge about how facebook works and the process of creating a face page, is it plausible that someone other than my husband could have changed his profile and checked the "interested in meeting women" box? Could facebook have somehow malfunctioned on my husband's profile? These are my husbands claims. NO WAY!! that looks like a drinking gl to me and theres no way even the betta will be happy alone in their theirs just no space for it to swim and grow, also putting anything besides a female with your male betta will result in the other fish being picked on and most likely being killed. I am writing a book title the truth shall make me free and one of the reasons l came into yahoo answers, because l wanted to get material for my second book l plan on writing next year. l am one to ask a lot of questions because l believe the only way to really get to know people and life in general is by asking questions. I had stopped going to church for the fact is, I can worship and praise God any where. As far as the people in the church, no offense, but what in the world would l want to sit in a church building full of hypocrites who play the church roll on sunday and wednesday and as soon as they are out the door, their sheep clothing is no longer needed. Jesus may have come for the sick, but when you have been sick for fifty years, you are no longer sick, you are now insane. When l do wrong, I go to the father and l confess my wrong. l do not make excuses for my sins but l learn to avoid it. l am out here daily among the lost and l have witness to a lot of the people who are struggling with their walk. l have seen more people come to accept Christ outside of the four walls. l asked a few preacher, if you had to give a percent of how many people in your church would make it to heaven what would that percent be. the lowest was 5% the highest was 12%. l can do the will of the Lord outside the church. As far as the church as a group, l want to be around real people, not insane people. sorry. l would rather deal with the world then to deal with those who are playing church. amen.

BMW Unjustified.... I don't know where you live, but that's not the case here on Planet Earth. As far as higher end cars go, Mercedes takes the cake. I am talking 150,000+. As far as lower models go, BMW is the winner. In between they are both pretty equal. Mercedes tends to stay on the more luxurious route, while BMW tends to lean towards less luxury, but higher performance. I must say though, that I would take a BMW over a Mercedes any day of the week. I think they look nicer, and they are 100x more reliable.

I have no contract and was renting a place that is unliveable can he do anything since I moved out?

My sister and I were renting a house along with her kids, when we moved in the house it needed to be cleaned from top to bottom it had been sitting empty for a while. The guy told us that by cleaning we would work off the security deposit. Once we moved in we had to replace many things, including getting water to our kitchen. Put new flooring thur out the house and did alot of work, in return he gave us a free half months rent and put alitte propane in our tank which we never used cause it got hot outside fast. Well once we moved in we relized that the house was infested with spiders and soon found that we have VERY poisous ones along with mold in the basement and one day a snake! We called him about the mold he said just paint over it, called about spiders and he said he would have someone come spray, a week went by so we finally just did a home bombing, it seemed to help for a while but then they came back, we were offered a house from a family member when they seen what was going on, so we bought it. We told the landlord and just packed up and moved. He wants us to pay our light bill and is now saying we had no security depost. We have NO contract with the guy and he just called and said if we dont pay he will be taking it to collections. Does anyone know if he has a case? We had to move b/c the house was unliveable and he is going to be renting it already cause he has someone who wants it. Also we took care of animals out there for him which we used our water and bld out there. My sister used everything to move and now that he is saying we had no deposit she is upset and she took everything to move. Just wondering if anyone knows if he has a case.

I would say write a few chapters first and then do a little bit of editing you know or just write for 6 days of the week and use 1 day to edit. It would get done faster.

Okay, so what you have heard about females being fixed is true. If you want your bunny to have a friend, you have to get her, AND her companion spayed. Spaying is pretty safe with rabbits, she is not likely to get hurt especially if it is an experienced vet. Also, I discourage you from wanting to breed her someday. Breeding is a big responsibility, and many problems can occur, with much much higher risks than spaying, ESPECIALLY for older rabbits (most breeders don't breed their does once they get past 2 years) and especially for a first time mother. If you bred her, you would be asking for problems. So, getting her a friend is a great idea, and she would love a companion, but her and her friend must be spayed. It usually doesn't cost too much. If you don't want to spay her, then she will have to stay solitary. God luck, and remember as much as she would like a friend, she will be okay without one too. Rabbits are not like rats that need companionship from other ratties, they can get all the love they need from their owner.

Well, we use real wood for our fireplace and it sometimes backs up with smoke and gets in the house. (We called someone to fix it..) Now everything smells like we just went to a barbecue. One of my ferrets sounds like hes congested?

As much as I dislike the Lakers and the Steelers at least they do it in a fair system with a salary cap. The Yankees since the dawn of baseball have found a way to buck the system. From the early 1920's to the 60's the Yankees were buying amatuer players and capitalizing off of other teams financial situations. This is how the Mantle's, Dimaggios and Berra's were signed. In the mid 60's baseball stopped this and introduced the amatuer draft so the Yankees could not buy the talent as youngsters. From 65 to 73 the Yankees struggled financially because they could not put a good product on the field because their advantage was taken away. When George Steinbrenner took the team over from CBS in 1973 it was right about the time that FREE-AGENCY came about. The Yankees now found another way to buck the system. Signing players like Catfish Hunter and Reggie Jackson to contracts that other teams could not afford thus building 2 more titles and the Yankees were pretty good up until 1986. The Yankees advantages were taken away again in the late 80's when the owners had a secret pack not to sign any other teams free-agents to not inflate salaries. It took about 4-5 years but when the players got wind of this they sued the owners and won a ton of back money. This was the first step of what lead to the strike in 1994. Once the smoke cleared the team with the most money in their pockets could reign supreme and that was the Yankees. I am not saying that money buys titles, but it buys you a greater chance than other teams. It is like having 100 lotto tickets to the poor sap who has 1. Baseball is also insane in the sense where you can trade a star player for guys who never played. In the NBA and NFL there are salary caps and trades must match salaries which hold teams more accountable. The Yankees are a benefit of a flawed system. This is an education to Yankee fans who are celebrating as if this is so rare. Try being a Royals fan or a Pirates fan. I can't knock the Lakers or Steelers because the system is made so every team can be even. If football was run with the baseball system then the Cowboys would go insane and for those of you who hate the Cowboys and like the Yankees remember they represent the same thing. The Knicks would just keep spending until they win, at least with the system in play now the Knicks are held accountable for the bad signings they have made this decade. The Yankees are not held accountable for the Pavano's and Kevin Brown's, they consistantly put a 90 win team up no matter what. Cap baseball and then when the Yankees win the fans can celebrate, until then this is expected and requires no parade or celebration.

Am I a deluded sinner, because I'm happy even though I'm in debt?

I know this sounds like a stupid question, but I know of many people who feel that they aren't allowed to be happy because they owe money or don't make enough. I'm not an irresponsible person. the first thing you do, before anything else is drive the car down to a local auto parts store park, leave the engine running transmission in park and get out and check that the transmission fluid is not low, Usually it should be no more than a pint or 16 ounces low. You check the fluid when car is warm and running in park. If it says add, then put only a half a quart. You buy it in quarts, and you may need a funnel, so put some rags in the car and check for low fluid. If this fixes the problem, great, find out it there is a fluid leak somewhere is next. good luck.

My boy is 8 months old and not sleeping through the night , he was waking up just once but for a month now waking up several times(6-7) a night and twice is for a bottle. I tried letting him cry and he cried for an hour with no sign of settling. The time he doesn't want a bottle it's for his pacifier. Okay, I have been with boyfriend for 3 years now. Everything has been good, and of course we have our ups and downs just as usual as any other couple out there. He is now getting really fussy and mean with me now without a valid reason and I know I didn't do anything to him or done anything wrong, so it has frustrated me especially knowing my mom ped away 3 weeks ago and what he is doing is added on more frustration and stress. *sighs*. I am currently in the armed forces, I was scared at first but I love every minute of it, For you to say your NOT scared of going to the middle east you are full of **** or your dumb. You should be scared as hell, being complacient with something like can get you or your buddy killed, I do not recommend the Air Force, But if you like being called a fly boy its your choice, I considered joining the Air Force at first, But now I am glad I went Army!
