Is Calvin Johnson, WR - Detroit Lions, officially a bust?

No, he's not a bust. Very few WR have mind blowing stats their first year in the league. It usually takes them a few years to develop, Randy Moss is the only exception to that rule that I can think of . Johnson's stats are especially unimpressive because unlike other WR's that come into the league, he has Roy Williams across from him and Mike Furry is pretty good to. If he had went to Philadelphia, Kansas City, or even Tampa, we may have seen him develop alot faster. I dont think #2 was to early for Johnson to go but I do think in hind sight Detroit should have taken Peterson because Jones was injured and Bell is a product of Denver's system. Not to mention he was the 4th WR they took in 5 years. A change of pace would have been nice.
