What's "sincerely misled" supposed to mean?

It's supposed to mean that those "May 21 believers" don't believe the same way as Harold Camping - therefore, they must be wrong. It's nothing more than egotistical drivel that should be ignored. He should be embarred for embracing such foolishness; but, he's too stupid to realize it.
