I do not have a "leading foot" in snowboarding - is this ok?
I'm told I should have a "leading foot" in snowboarding, but I do not, I seem to be equally as comfortable with either foot foward as I go down the hill. I can snowboard the intermediat "blue" hills ok, sometimes falling, but I've only snowboarded about 5 times now. I am criticized for not using a "leading foot". I don't understand why I HAVE to go down with a particular foot?! Is it ok that I do both equally? I can turn, stop toe or heel side, do minor jumping while going down. AM I OK OR ARE PEOPLE JUST RAGGING ON ME for no good reason?!?!
