8 month old won't sleep through the night.?

My boy is 8 months old and not sleeping through the night , he was waking up just once but for a month now waking up several times(6-7) a night and twice is for a bottle. I tried letting him cry and he cried for an hour with no sign of settling. The time he doesn't want a bottle it's for his pacifier. I am exaushted but not only for myself but for him , I think it's important for him to have a good night sleep. He is a very healthy and always happy baby. I don't know what else to do :( HELP
