How come in general, people act like Mercedes is better than BMW?

BMW Unjustified.... I don't know where you live, but that's not the case here on Planet Earth. As far as higher end cars go, Mercedes takes the cake. I am talking 150,000+. As far as lower models go, BMW is the winner. In between they are both pretty equal. Mercedes tends to stay on the more luxurious route, while BMW tends to lean towards less luxury, but higher performance. I must say though, that I would take a BMW over a Mercedes any day of the week. I think they look nicer, and they are 100x more reliable.
