Do you sometimes have the impression however open minded you might be that there are rarely music ?

Some of the worst outrages against modern music were committed in the 1980s. Doesn't help that at least half your examples there are maudlin formulaic tosh (Against All Odds, Private Dancer, Human Nature anything by Mili Vanilli). Yes, it is all a question of taste, but in terms of pure pop, Sugababes 'About You Know' and Black kids 'I'm Not Going To Teach Your Boyfriend' are near perfect. The best out and out rock anthem in the world ever is 'Invincible' by Muse. 'I'm No Good' by La Winehouse is a perfect bad-girl soul song that Etta James could have done serious credit to. Your problem is that the frankly wet rock ballad is thankfully out of fashion at the moment.
