Need help!!! pleaaaseee.?

im writing a story for my language arts cl and im totally stuck. i have no idea what to do. im suppose to have a plot, setting, and narrator (1st and 3rd.) im so confused. i have three characters and they are girls : zoey, abbey, and jess. and i need a story where they are late for a very important event. I don't get why but that's what the teacher said. so just please, i need some ideas for the plot and setting and what to do!! thank you
