Does anyone think Florence is a beautiful name also can be called flo?

my friend gets teased about her name and its lowering her self esteem and she's starting to believe her name is ugly too i think its beautiful and unique and ,that when her name is called 20 people dont come running , but every time her name is called everyone snickers and i feel really bad for her.
